Worldwide Classroom: University Outreach Overview
An innovative way to reach the USA and Canadian university markets

University Outreach from Worldwide Classroom provides your organization with a unique opportunity to reach students, faculty and staff at universities throughout the USA and Canada. Throughout the year we will showcase brochures, distribute your contact information, collect and forward inquiries, take out advertisements in university papers, and attend over 50 university functions on behalf of participating organizations.

Icon Cost Effective
University Outreach allows you to showcase your programs while sharing the costs with other participating organizations. For less than $40 a function we will showcase your information, take out ads, and forward inquiries regarding your programs.
Icon Your in Control
Not only can you pick your level of commitment, you can control the types of inquiries you would like to receive. So if you are only interested in specific markets - we will only forward those inquiries to you.
Icon Program Consulting
To help you make better use of the inquiries that you receive, we will provide you with limited consulting support regarding your messages, transcript, course syllabi, and other functions necessary to sell to the university market.
Icon Face-To-Face Contact
In this day and age of technology, we often forget the importance of personal contact. With faxes, cell phones, the web and e-mail we spend less and less time face to face with our current and potential students.

12,000+ People Stopped By

We spoke with more than 12,000 students, faculty and staff at last year's study abrod fairs and other university functions.

Thousands of Inquiries Forwarded

Every year we forward thousands of inquiries to participating organizations from students, facualty, and staff who are interested in attending programs abroad.

More Than 5,000 Flyers Distributed

At last year university functions and study abroad fairs we distributed more than 5,000 inquiry forms and program information sheets.

Why Participate in University Outreach?

Reach Prospective Students Planning Their Next Trip

Over 1 million students, teachers, and administrators will travel or want to travel abroad to study next year. Studying abroad is popular and steadily increasing, being stressed more and more by universities and employers. Attending univeristy functions personally or participating in University Outreach enables students to get information they need to consider your program.

University FunctionAt the university functions that Worldwide Classroom attends on your behalf, students can browse through your brochure, copy your e-mail for later questions, or sign-up for additional information at the booth in which case their inquiry will be forwarded to you.

Let Students Know You Care

Web sites and e-mail are efficient - but impersonal. Students find hundreds of options on the Internet and do not know where to start. "Which organization is good? Which program is for me? They all look alike." These are common comments we hear from students worldwide everyday.

Attending US & Canadian university functions personally or having WWC go on your behalf gives potential students an opportunity to relate to your school face to face. Students have the opportunity to talk about their needs. Many complete "information request forms" which help to focus their needs by writing it down - and improves your perspective when you receive their request.

For your convenience, Worldwide Classroom has put together a list of fairs where you will have an opportunity to meet potential students. You are encouraged to attend those which your schedule permits - and WWC staff will be happy to represent your programs at univeristy functions you are unable to attend.

Organizations From Around the World Participate

Institutions from all countries which offer academic, cultural, or experiential programs and welcome North American students and faculty are encouraged to participate in the Worldwide Classroom University Outreach. These include:

Students want a broad range of programs from which to choose the one best suited to their needs. As a result, WWC University Outreach limits the number of schools from the same country offering similar programs - and especially welcomes organizations which offer diverse choices.

Typically, the WWC University Outreach highlights both academic and experiential programs from over 30 countries. The diversity of programs participating in the WWC University Outreach  contributes to its popularity and is one of the reasons why over 10,000 students visited the WWC Showcase booth at Study Abroad Fairs in the past year.
