Why Participate in Internet Outreach? More and more people worldwide are realizing the value of study and work abroad experience. In fact, over one million people will attend international programs in the coming year. WorldWide Classroom’s Internet Outreach Program is a way to reach these potential students and provide them with information regarding the opportunities offered by your institution. As a participant in Internet Outreach, you broaden your exposure in the international community. Individuals contact WWC for information, we forward their request to organizations that offer programs which correspond to the request. Requests forwarded to you are the same as if the student contacted you directly. We ask that organizations evaluate the student requests and respond to them directly with specific information regarding their study programs, work/internships, or volunteer opportunities. Participants in WWC’s Internet Outreach program not only receive MORE student inquiries by e-mail on a regular basis, but also have access to student requests through the Member section of Worldwide.edu. Organizations may log in to their member section and respond to these more broadly-matched inquiries at their convenience. ![]() Internet Outreach also includes a 12 month WWC Membership. WWC Members are recognized on the website with preferred placement on their listing page, enhanced listings (including your e-mail, website address, program description, ‘Ask the Student’ section, and search categories), and free or discounted participation in services by WWC partner organizations (including Adventures Abroad announcements sent monthly to 65,000 subscribers). Many students interested in study and work abroad need help to make an informed decision on where to go. As a result, more than 2 million people used WWC’s website last year alone. Internet Outreach is an ideal way to utilize this resource and make the necessary connections to these prospective program participants. There has never been a better time to be part of study abroad, language immersion, and international education. By broadening your exposure through Worldwide Classroom, you increase your access to students looking for international opportunities.
