What is Sponsored Internet Outreach? Every year thousands of students contact Worldwide Classroom looking for more information about international opportunities. They phone, fax, e-mail, mail, use the web, and even stop by our office to request information on study abroad programs. In the past year more than 40,000 requests for information regarding study abroad, volunteer, internship, work, and experiential options came through WWC. Internet Outreach connects you with these individuals. With WWC’s Internet Outreach program you are able to reach the millions of students that are looking to study/travel abroad in the coming years. Some look for short term language programs, others want semester and year abroad options. Others are looking for internship, volunteer, and work opportunities. Parents are looking for k-12 schools for their children around the world. Executives need intense, upscale programs and mature adults often request art, music, a  nd other extras.With over 16,000 organizations working together with Worldwide Classroom, all organizations are eligible to participate in WWC’s Internet Outreach as long as they agree to WWC guidelines. Organizations looking to help MORE students locate programs for their future study abroad opportunities can become a Sponsored Internet Outreach participant. As a Sponsored Internet Outreach participant you receive first access to the student inquiries that come into WWC. WWC forwards these requests, based on the student’s areas of interest, to organizations that offer opportunities in relevant fields. We ask that the organization evaluate the student’s request and respond to the student directly with specific information regarding their study programs, work/internships, or volunteer opportunities. Requests forwarded to you are the same as if the student had contacted you directly. Last year over 2 million students used WWC as their study abroad resource. With Sponsored Internet Outreach you can be there for the students and help them make an informed decision on were to study/travel abroad.
