Participants in cultural exchange programs in Africa, Brazil or Cuba -- academic credit, optional. Educational Travel to Africa, Cuba and Brazil: Multiple trips year round, from 1 to 4 weeks in length; earn academic credit. Offers an intense immersion in and exposure to traditional and modern life, an experience that is both career-enhancing and profoundly personal in our Global Village. Select from among several different travel itineraries, program themes, and dates year round. Programs led by Prof. Harold Rogers. Countries: Senegal, Ivory Coast, Mali, Ethiopia, Gambia, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Ghana, Madagascar, Cuba, Brazil Study themes: Art - History - Culture - African Influence - Political Change - Social Change - African Diaspora - ROOTS. This program is for North Americans who are seeking an in-depth experience inAfrica. Departure will be from USA cities following an Orientation. ALL ARE WELCOME.
