Summer in Switzerland, SIS, offers two 3 week sessions to students of the world, ages 9-19, in the beautiful Swiss Alps. SIS, is a well-balanced program of study and recreation. Students are enrolled in a variety of educational classes in the morning and are actively involved in recreational activities and theater arts programs in the afternoon. Students are offered the unequaled opportunity to take intensive language courses, math courses, computer classes, English Literature, and SAT preparatory courses. Theater arts, dance and voice classes are also made available to the students. Summer in Switzerland offers the possibility to partake in a wide variety of sports, including soccer, tennis, mountain biking, snowboarding and many others. To round off the summer experience, students are given the chance to travel throughout Switzerland on weekends, as well as optional one week tours of France, Italy and the UK in between the two 3 week sessions. The summer school campus is located at 4,500 feet above Lake Geneva. Summer in Switzerland is a program offered by the Leysin American School in Switzerland, a coed American/International boarding school.
