and AIL have come together to offer the Cultural Immersion Programme.
This gives Americans the opportunity to obtain a student visa to
study our programme and teach English in Madrid, Spain.
We
support you through the process and are with you every step of the
way from answering your very first query, to issuing your visa
letters, guiding you through the visa process, helping organize your
accommodation, bank accounts, cell phones, providing full job support
post course and ensuring your year in Madrid will be a year to
remember.
The
course consists of the following:

week intensive TEFL programme (Teaching English as a Foreign
Language)

week intensive Spanish course
Year
long cultural activities
Ongoing
professional development training
Guided
lesson planning throughout the year
Your
visa will allow you to live in Spain legally and travel freely
throughout Europe. As a student you are able to apply to work for 20
hours a week and we have excellent relationships with 183 agencies
and schools waiting to hire American students on our programme.
Working
20 hours a week, means will be taking home about 1200 euros per month
($1720 per month). With the cost of living being low and rent around
400 euros ($600) with bills included, you will have enough money to
enjoy your new life in Spain and explore Europe using low cost
airlines.
Our
TEFL course prepares you to teach English to adults especially in a
business context. Our graduates are currently teaching at some of the
top companies such as Accenture, Microsoft, KPMG, Citibank, Gucci and
many more. However, if you are interested in teaching young learners
as well we have extensive contacts with schools and private language
academies.
Madrid
is an amazingly vibrant and diverse city and you can experience
everything from the 24 hour party scene, art, history, delicious
food, a new language, dance, theatre and so much more. During the
course you will meet 13 other like minded people to share and enjoy
your new adventure with.
