Escuela
de Idiomas Nerja is situated in the main centre of the small town of
Nerja, in the south of Spain. It was founded in 1980 and it is
accredited by The IALC and the Instituto Cervantes. All the teachers
are philologists or have a university degree.
Nerja
is situated beside the sea, where its many beaches and bays, its
white houses and the natural environment that surround it, create an
ideal atmosphere of relaxation. The school is located in an
�rabe-Andaluz style building with a subtropical garden, what makes
possible to enjoy lessons in the open air. All classrooms are fully
equipped with the latest Multimedia resources, access to Internet,
etc.
The
school is about 3 minutes walk from the Club Coast Nerja, which is
more than the residence of students. Club Costa Nerja provides
services such as El Sal�n del Estudiante, a student�s lounge where
you can study and do the homework meanwhile you get to know other
students and teachers. It has cafeteria, Internet access, and a free
WI-FI area. You can read a Spanish literature book from our library
or see a film in Spanish in our movie hall. It also has a terrace
and solarium with a small pool. You can cook in the shared kitchen of
the Club Costa Nerja.
The
program responds to any Spanish learning needs: From a general
language course to a course of Spanish for special purposes, Spanish
for business, tourism, medicine etc. We offer lessons for students
of all ages; from young students to retired students over 50.
You
can hire accommodation at Club Costa Nerja, or you can also live in
the house of a Spanish family. This way you will always be in an
atmosphere of total immersion of the Spanish language and will learn
and experience Spanish customs more deeply. You can also rent an
apartment at Club Costa Nerja, individual or shared apartment with
others students.
To
make your stay more enjoyable, the school organizes numerous
activities: Like excursions and trips to nearby white villages and
towns, or to the most important cities of the South of Spain, that
are at the same time full of art and history. There are also
excursions to our neighboring country Morocco, an exotic destination
at hand. We also organize going outs by Nerja to discover the Spanish
tapas, a tour in Jeep or a horse riding. You can get to know the
nightlife in Tutti Frutti. Also it is very interesting to visit Las
Cuevas de Nerja, the caves with the largest formations of stalagmites
and stalactites in Europe. In the school, you can attend seminars on
Spanish culture and customs, wine tasting, Spanish cuisine lessons,
or salsa and sevillanas lessons.
For
many years, Escuela de Idiomas Nerja has given Spanish lessons to
students from around the world, which have made friends in Nerja and
