Quito S.I.Spanish Institute
Is a school with more than 10 years of experience in teaching Spanish. It was recognized as Centro Asociado to Instituto Cervantes de Espana in 2002, and is also DELE (Diploma de Espanol como Lengua Extranjera) Examination Center in Ecuador since 2003, as per an agreement signed with Instituto Cervantes.

Levels and duration
LEVELS
Initial: A1 and A2: 60 hours each
Intermediate B1 and B2: 60 hours each
Superior C1 and C2: 80 hours each
Courses:
- Practical- 4 hours/day: conversation and language structures
The four basic skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking, are covered through a grammar and communication program. Structures of the language and practical vocabulary are presented in real every-day situations through videos and cassettes, debates and interviews.
- Dynamic- 5 hours/day: conversation, language structures plus one hour of Ecuadorian culture (includes all materials and instructors), activities such as:
- Music
- Dance
- Cooking
- Debates
- Interviews
- Book reading club
- Quichua language lessons
- Movies in Spanish.
- Intensive- 6 hours/day: conversation, language structures, Ecuadorian culture plus ten hours cultural programs and trips per level
Combines the study of language of the Dynamic program with cultural and social activities such as:
- City Tours to Colonial town
- The Equator
- Museums: Colonial, archeological, modern art, ethnical
- Bullring Belmonte
- Tour in the "Chiva Quitena"
- Football game (seasonal)
- Bull fight (seasonal)
- Traditional market places in Quito

SPECIAL PROGRAMS
- VACATIONAL PROGRAMS (groups)
There are many possibilities and choices for vacational programs. We take the advantage of the country's weather which is eternal springtime throughout the year due to its location at Latitude 0, the Middle of the World, to produce interesting programs at any time and for the length of time desired. Group is accompanied by a teacher and receives language classes on site.
These programs have to be booked at least one month in advance
- SPANISH OUTDOORS
QUITO S.I.SPANISH INSTITUTE organizes and promotes various programs throughout the year for people who want to attend any of the courses in Quito combined with trips around the country accompanied by Spanish instructor. These Outdoors programs can be individual or groups and the destinations depend on the student's preferences.
They have to be booked at least one month in advance.

3.- DELE CERTIFICATES
DELE .- Diplomas de Espa�ol como Lengua Extranjera are official titles granted by Instituto Cervantes in the name of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Spain, demonstrating the competency and command level of the Spanish language.

DELE Preparation Course
40-hour course designed to prepare DELE applicants in the three levels of the exam. This course takes place prior to the examination dates in May and November of each year and focuses on advanced topics of the five language skills: reading comprehension, writing, listening comprehension, grammar and vocabulary. The course includes a placement exam, course materials and final evaluation (DELE pre-exam).
4. INTERNSHIP WITH UNIVERSIDAD INTERNACIONAL:
Students may combine two weeks of Intensive Spanish program + work, as an intern in a job according to your field of study.
