The city campus is in the colonial city of Heredia, home to the National University and close to San Jose, the airport and all amenities. The beach campus is in beautiful Playa Samara, on the northern Pacific coast, and offers students a wonderful opportunity for study and vacation in this small, friendly beach town.
At both campuses, Intercultura offers free Latin Dance, cooking, and conversational intercambios with our local students of English. We also have volunteer programs, cultural activities, and tours around the country. Our academic programs are internationally recognized for their excellence, and our professors are all certified to teach Spanish as a Second Language. We offer individual credit programs through USM, as well as group programs through Duke University, Montana State, and others.
