In 2004 EARTHQUEST (Canada) opened Canada's first and only Biological Field School. This school offers 3 - 12 month certification courses in field biology, botany, ethnobotany, primatology and ornithology for people searching for employment in the environmental industry. Students enrolled in these courses have a greater than 90% chance of finding employment (100% if they enroll in the 12 month General FAT Program). All courses lead to internships or job opportunities and may be taken via correspondence or distance learning or by attending the Biological Field School, located near Aylmer, Ontario, Canada. |
